What You Should Look for From a New Exterior Door in Charlotte
We find that customers most often weigh these features when choosing a replacement door:
Energy Efficiency: Foam-filled insulated cores and premium glass reduce heat transfer through hot, humid summers and cooler winters
Security: Multipoint locking systems to distribute load across the frame rather than concentrating it at a single latch point
Weather Performance: Heavy-duty weatherstripping and tight seals keep drafts, moisture, loud sounds, and insects out, especially important for patio doors facing seasonal storms
Customization: Finish colors, hardware styles, glass patterns, and thresholds to match your home's exterior
ProVia Doors Are the Perfect Answer for Charlotte Homes
We install ProVia doors exclusively. ProVia provides a premium product with foam-filled insulated cores, heavy-duty weatherstripping, multipoint locking systems, and Low-E glass options that manage heat gain and loss year-round. Customization options include finishes, hardware, glass configurations, and thresholds for Charlotte home exteriors.
Fiberglass doors resist warping or splitting and accept paint and stain finishes cleanly. Steel doors offer dense construction with reinforced frames if you’re prioritizing security. Both options feature foam-filled cores and heavy-duty weatherstripping designed to maintain solid seals through Charlotte's seasonal swings.
